Who looks after your information
Ahsan Majid trading as MAJID WORKS is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact majidworks111@gmail.com or write to 7 Turnfield Road, Cheadle, Manchester, SK8 1JQ.
What we collect and why
For a quote, we ask for your name, email and a short message. You can select a service and optionally add a business name, phone number or website. We use these details to answer you, prepare a quote and manage agreed work. Please leave out passwords, card details and sensitive personal information.
Where you ask us to prepare or perform a contract with you, we use the information necessary for that purpose. For general enquiries and business representatives, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering requests and managing client relationships. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting our website from abuse. Financial records may be retained to meet legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Hosting, forms and email
Netlify hosts the website and processes and stores submitted forms. Notifications and direct correspondence use our Google Gmail business inbox. MAJID WORKS reviews enquiries. An enquiry does not place an order. Providing the required contact fields lets us respond; you can email us instead.
Information used for client projects
Depending on the agreed work, we may need business content, authorised account access, campaign performance information or access to a client's enquiry and booking tools. We agree the purpose, access and handling arrangements before this work starts. Where we process a client's customer information on their behalf, the project must include appropriate data-processing terms. The client's own privacy notice explains their use of their customers' information. Do not upload customer lists or grant account access through this enquiry form.
Project payments
Payments for accepted MAJID WORKS quotes use Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe processes payment information, your quote reference, customer details and transaction/device information. We receive the payment records needed to manage the project, not your full card details. Stripe has its own privacy notice.
How long we keep information
Our policy is to review enquiries after 90 days and remove them within 12 months of the last meaningful contact unless there is an ongoing project or another valid reason to keep them. Project, payment and accounting records are kept for the period needed to meet the agreement, legal obligations or a genuine dispute. The policy covers both form records and inbox copies. Project-specific retention and deletion arrangements are agreed where we handle a client's data.
Access and international processing
Access is limited to MAJID WORKS and the services needed for hosting, enquiries, payments and agreed work. Netlify, Google and Stripe may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their applicable terms explain their arrangements: Netlify privacy, Google transfer frameworks and Stripe privacy. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. Any additional platforms needed for a client project are agreed as part of that work.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to our use of your information. If we rely on consent for an optional activity, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use. Email majidworks111@gmail.com to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
